I almost painting over this to start over: but I didn’t have to. The vision I had for this piece was COMPLETELY different than how it turned out. And I absolutely love that. About half way through “completion” something changed.. what this represents suddenly made me feel a reverent fear of the Lord. I began with the clouds at the bottom first, and the moment I added that scarlet red, my throat constricted and I got teary eyed. His second coming is very SOON, and as Revelation 1:7 says, “‘Look, he is coming with the clouds,’ and ‘every eye will see him, even those who pierced him’; and all peoples on earth ‘will mourn because of him.’ So shall it be! Amen.” This verse brings together two other passages: Matthew 26:64, in which Jesus tells the Sanhedrin they will see the Son “coming on the clouds of heaven”; and Zechariah 12:10, which says that Jerusalem’s inhabitants will mourn when they see “the one they have pierced.”There is nothing more to make of th...

My artwork began as a therapeutic hobby in 2016 painting with watercolors. Eventually I learned acrylic worked better for me in the long run and I have stuck with it since. I enjoy making abstract art, expressing feelings and tones that are inspired by Scripture. My style tends to flow in modern contemporary ways with neutral hues and cool tones. I have never studied or had any schooling in art but that has not stopped me from pursuing this new dream project! Currently working on a collection to then expand my first gallery.
